Gemma Dixon - Online Marketing & Usability Specialist
Gemma joined the team in May 2009 and worked part time while she finished her studies. Gemma chose the employment road after she left school, but finally in 2007 after a stint as a Marketing Coordinator she decided it was time to go back to study.
This led to Christchurch Polytechnic and started out at as a Business Diploma and a Marketing Diploma. After exceptional grades and some dabbling in web development, the world of IT eventually got its grasp on her, and she switched to the Bachelor of Information and Communication Technology, majoring in E-Commerce. Gemma worked part time at Cabbage Tree learning the ropes while she finished her studies.
Gemma's professional interests lie with marketing (internet and traditional), usability, and website development and design. When she is not working, looking after 3 unruly animals, acting as a Marriage Celebrant, or doing the books and development for her co-owned wedding business Perfect Venue, she is usually shopping, organising her shoe collection, cooking/baking, reading, or drinking a good flat white or sauvignon blanc!
